Just picked up my 6th pair of Donohugh sunglasses and I'm still just as impressed.
The build quality is immediately noticeable the moment you put them on — solid without being heavy, clean lines, and a fit that actually feels intentional instead of generic. The lenses are crisp, reduce glare extremely well, and don’t create that cheap distortion you get from lower-tier frames.
What stood out most is the balance between style and durability. They look high-end but feel like they’re built to be worn daily, not babied.
If you appreciate products that are thoughtfully made and don’t cut corners, these are worth it. Style and flare are unmatched.
Frames are high quality and the service was good. They’re chunkier than I expected and the transition to amber isn’t particularly strong for transition lenses. I wish they fit a little more discreetly on my face, but overall I like them.
The quality of the Simon and Brian frames are top notch. I fitted the Simon with Essilor progressive lenses with Transitions XTRActive brown with a bronze flash mirror. And the Brian I fitted with ZEISS progressive lenses with ZEISS PhotoFusion brown with a blue flash mirror. I definitely recommend Donahugh eyewear. I bought a third pair but still have to fit them with my prescription. And I plan to buy another one or two eyeglass frames.
I especially like this pair of glasses. I love both the frame design and the pattern on the temples. The color of the lenses matches the frame very well.
